Arijit Bhattacharyya, CEO and the Founder of ‘Virtual Infocom’, has established a new game development club at Purnima College in Jaipur. Virtual Infocom is involved in providing services for the Ad-commercials and Short films, Corporate Films, Animated Movies, Music Videos, Visual/Special Effects, Software Development, Webpage Designing and Management Solution Tools.
Speaking about the initiative, Arijit says, “This is an activity club wherein you can get updates about the PC and mobile gaming. It is basically for game developers to showcase their game ideas.”
As informed, the response for the club has been overwhelming and has received 200 plus requests from Allahabad, Kolkatta, Noida and many other cities. The first workshop was organized in mid November and after the success Virtual Infocom is now planning its second workshop which will be held in mid December. “Apart from Jaipur we are planning to run our workshop/Club at Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkatta, Kanpur, Nagpur, Allahabad, Ranchi, Vishakapattanam, Udupi as well. Our main focus is to remove the gap between the gaming industry and the training industry.” adds, Bhattacharyya.
The three days workshop includes designing games, know-how of gaming industry, Single Player game structure v/s Multiplayer game Structure and technicalities, Social Games Introduction and introduction to gaming softwares.
Explaining the need of the workshop, Arijit states, “We are a part of the Indian gaming Industry and it is our responsibility to propel it to the next level. This initiative is just the start.”
Currently there is no such initiative from the government to create awareness among people about the growing the gaming industry.
