Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced that is has shipped more than 1 million units of PlayStation Move, since its launch almost a month ago. This news follows Sony’s announcement of 1.5 million sales of PS Move in Europe itself.

The Move took motion gaming a step ahead with as the mishmash of the PS3 system and PlayStation Eye camera detects the precise movement, angle, and absolute position in 3D space of PlayStation Move motion controller, allowing users to intuitively play the game as if they themselves are within the game. PlayStation Move motion controller delivers unmatched accuracy through its advanced motion sensors, including a three-axis gyroscope, a three-axis accelerometer, and a terrestrial magnetic field sensor, as well as a color-changing sphere that is tracked by PlayStation Eye camera.

The move is priced at INR 3650 and comes bundled with one controller and a starter disc including demos of the titles Sports Champions, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, Start the Party and more. You will need at least 2 controllers to play most of the games hence you can add another INR 1850 to the total cost. All those who yet do not have a PS3 can buy can buy the new bundle pack which includes the new PS3 320 GB slim console along with the PS move starter pack and is priced at INR 23490.
