Winners of GeForce LAN gaming tournament will meet Shahrukh Khan!

Calling all Indian gamers! Prepare your gears, polish your skills and get ready to compete at this year’s biggest gaming tournament. NVIDIA has just expanded GeForce LAN to India with their Gaming Event on 14th of October 2011 in Mumbai. Participants will vie for the title of “Ultimate Gamer”. The winner will get crowned by the King of Bollywood, ‘Shahrukh Khan’ and will be awarded with some cool prizes.

A technology and gaming enthusiast at heart, Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan commented: “Gaming has always been a passion for me, so I’m excited to be part of GeForce LAN. The event is going to be a paradise for gamers, and I can’t wait to personally challenge some of the players to a few rounds. You never know, I might just walk away with a few of those prizes myself!”

The event will see up to 1000 gamers competing against each other in an enormous virtual combat zone.  There will be various games and tracks, including a special track dedicated to female gamers. The event will culminate with personal congratulations from Shahrukh Khan for the winners.

The tournament will be configured as a ‘LAN party’ where gamers can play on NVIDIA PCs customised GeForce GTX graphics processors.
