Ironcode software founders have taken a initiative to drive the game developers in India as they have formed the Indian game developers forum (IGDF), an online forum aimed at increasing interaction between the Indian game developers and the media. Registered users can post their developed content, post jobs, share artwork, showcase content and many more.
This is a great initiative to propel and expand the game development space in India. Speaking to GamingXpress was Ironcode Software CEO Pallav Nawani.“The idea is that Indian game developers can use the forums to showcase their game to other developers, get feedback, talk about game art, technical issues, game design, everything - even their lifestyle! We are also hoping that the forum will eventually become useful for game journalists also; they can visit here to keep an eye on the new games being developed.”
He continued by saying, “We created this forum because so far there is very little interaction between Indian game developers, and I think that is holding the community back. IGDA forums used to serve as a meeting place, but after they did restructuring most of the people can't post to the forums anymore.”
